Summary
The community project was not only about creating a design, but about how to work with a client. My client was my grandmother, she owns the candy store, and she wanted me to make something to advertise her candy making classes. Since she didn't have anything that she previously used to showcase her store or her classes, I had to start from scratch. She didn't have many requirements except for the colors and the one image that is shown on the back of the card. I would say this is the easiest project I had done this year, because I've been working and going to my grandmother's store for years. Therefore, I knew how to connect the card to the store, and page parts helped a lot with this. The part that I used was the delicate, lacy design on the top and bottom of the card. My grandma always uses doilies to help display her chocolate, and I think the lace design represents that part of her store.
